"Zevran, I am a Knight Commander - my armor is neatly polished and hanging on it's stand." He murmured, as he shifted to follow the other man through his door, closing it behind him with a push, tugging Zevran back so he could lock it.
"And as I told you - there's little else to loose your footing on." He is not wrong. James's room is spartan - a bed, his armor, his sword, a chest of clothes and a number of books on a small table beside the bed. Another small table held a statue of Andraste, but that was that.
"We might have to do something to fix that." Later, he will think of something to give James later. For now he let his hands wander, slipping to the small of his back to massage the tension there. Now that would not do. "Do you have any coals to warm the room, or shall we make do with body heat?"
"There are no coals ... so we shall have to do with, ah, body heat." Which there was going to be no lack of, if the other man kept massaging him like that. He slipped closer, pressing his mouth to the arch of Zevran's eyebrow, then down the side of his face. Tasting salt and spice together.
"Knight Commander and you do not even have a coal brazier? Tsk." He clucked his tongue as he slipped a hand between them to start unfastening the laces of his shirt. "You need not live half so spartan as all that."
"A man should not ask for more than what he has been given." James stated simply, before he pressed another warm kiss to Zevran's ear, letting the other man unlace the shirt.
"And why is that? There is no sin in wanting a little comfort against the cold, empty nights." But then that is what he is for, shivering easily against James' lips, momentarily distracted from where he is attempting to undress the man. His hands slip and catch until he finds warm skin, sliding along James' ribs to nudge him closer still.
"I could absolutely agree with that. And I think I shall." He sighed softly, as he can feel those warm hands on his chest, and he does in fact, slide closer so he can move his mouth back over to Zevran's, pressing their lips together finally, so he can taste the other man.
