I found your sketches very educational, and I think that they might be of aid to others - if it becomes relevant in an edition, I would like to publish them. With your permission, of course, and perhaps some notations...?
I would be happy to negotiate the matter of the profits.
I see! Well then yes, I would be delighted to give them to you - with the proper notations and through information on each demon in kind. I do not want to give the public incorrect facts on these creatures.
As for profits, I would only ask that a fair amount goes to the support of the Chantry, or other charitable endeavors.
( and she is, even if she rolled her eyes at support the Chantry; she also had the sense and courtesy to wait until that reaction had passed to reply. )
I'd also be happy to share with you the relevant pages of my drafts before they go over Lady Montilyet's desk for approval. If you might have any thoughts on their use in context.
[And here he also paused, because he had best make it clear which part of the chantry he wished for her to support.]
I would be happy to add facts. I think it would help save lives. Also ... if they are to go past Lady Montilyet's desk, she can ask see where my share of the profits would be most useful to the poor and needy here and abroad. I trust her judgement in these matters.
The advisors view all drafts before being sent to my editor - to ensure nothing is published that might inadvertently provide information to our enemies. My agent in Orlais handles everything further, but I can have him deal with Lady Montilyet directly with regard to your contributions to the chantry, if you like.
Excellent. I agree to your terms, my lady, and please, let me know if there is anything else I, or the others of the Templars can do to help you. I will try to get you any assistance you need.
